DragonTap is a never-ending 2D mobile game where the player taps the screen to fly. The objective is to fly between the space in the pillars without touching them, or hitting the ground/ceiling. By doing so, the player will die and need to restart.
Each pillar that is flown through counts as 1 point. Try beating your score each time and improve with each attempt.
DragonTap is one of my favorite projects as it was the first game I created and published to Google Play Games. I am currently in development of the second game that will include multiple characters, levels, and dragons!
For the second game I am also going to include in-game advertising, unlocks, achievements and a leaderboard. These were left out in the original game as I was learning how to publish apps to the app store and it was not the focus.
Even with missing content, DragonTap came out great and I am proud of it as one of my first published projects. I developed everything in the game except for the background images in the menu screens. The artwork in the game was created by me.
Technologies used: Unity3D and Photoshop.
